I am currently an undergrad at the University of North Texas, and my major is in Psychology. After graduation, I plan to continue my education and to pursue a graduate degree in School Counseling. Although, I have worked as a tutor in several subjects, I love to tutor AP classes, Economics, English, Government, History, and Writing. I find enjoyment working with all ages of students. I excel at tutoring in test preparation for the ACT, AP exams, ISEE, and SAT. Additionally, I enjoy assisting students who are preparing to enter into college and need support for the process and their applications. I have studied French for four years, and in 2011 I was able to go abroad to study. I love sharing my passion for the French language with students. I have developed my teaching strategies through my own experiences in education, and work to adapt my methods to each of my student's individual needs. I have found the key in helping students to learn a subject is to begin with small, attainable goals and to work in the learning style that best suits their needs. When I am not working or studying, I love to spend time with family, attend concerts, and travel.
